New Zealanders love the dark theme song.
But they also love the other one: the Marvelous Mutants’ theme song from Avengers: Infinity War.
So what do they do with this?
For some, it’s a bit of a bummer that the MCU theme song isn’t the only one available.
For others, it offers an excuse to watch the MCUs original soundtrack.
And for some, the music can be a bit too loud.
But as we approach the end of the month, Marvel’s Civil War II: Battle of New York is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
The album is limited edition of 1,500 copies.
The song, which has been featured on both The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, has already been downloaded more than 3.6 million times.
So how did Marvel decide which song to use for its movie?
“Marvel is always on the lookout for new music to use in our films,” the band’s website reads.
“In this case, we wanted to take advantage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s huge fanbase to get them excited for the next installment of the MC U. We had no idea that the fans would respond so positively to the original song, so we’ve gone to great lengths to make sure the music reflects the characters and the world we want them to live in.”
It’s no secret that the Avengers have a penchant for heavy metal.
The original theme song was heavily influenced by metal legends Metallica and the Iron Maiden album, but that’s not all.
The song also featured Metallica’s Ironman logo.
It was used in several trailers for The Avengers.
So it’s no surprise that Marvel has been heavily using metal in its movies.
However, that doesn’t mean that the team is exclusively doing so with this one.
The MCU is a film that lives and breathes heavy metal, and so the MCU has already used some heavy metal in their films.
They’ve used it in Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Days of Future Past, and Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 2.
“There’s a lot of heavy metal influence in all of our movies,” a spokesperson for Marvel Entertainment told us.
“And we’re going to continue to use that in our movies as well.
We’re always on lookout for the new music for the movies to use and it’s not just for Marvel Studios or Marvel Entertainment.
We’re constantly looking for new songs for fans to love, and we have a large fan base that loves it.
The Avengers: Civil War II soundtrack will be released on November 5.”
We hope fans are inspired to give their favorite songs a go too, so if you’re feeling a bit dark and gloomy, grab your favorite song from our library and start rocking out.”
