The theme park developer behind a proposed $2 billion theme park and theme-park resort is working on a second development in the Orlando area.
The Orlando-based theme park company called Theme Park Central is developing a theme park called “Fairyland” on the former site of the former Disney Studios and Disneyland theme parks.
The project is in the early stages of development and will cost $1.6 billion.
The company said the development would begin construction in 2019.
The development is expected to open by the end of 2020, said a statement from Theme Park Capital.
The project, which is being developed by Orlando-area developer The Orlando Development Company, is expected in the first quarter of 2021, according to the company’s website.
The resort will feature four parks and attractions, according the Orlando Sentinel.
The site is just west of the Orlando International Airport, and about 10 minutes from downtown Orlando.
Theme Park Center in Disney’s theme park complex, which includes the theme parks and a shopping mall, is about a mile from the project.
The park has yet to be named.
